THE ALL-IMPORTANT FIRST BURN 

Even with tealights, the first burn primes the candle for great performance. Trim your wicks to 1/4" before lighting, and make sure to let the candle burn until the melt pool reaches all sides of the candle before blowing out. Because small candles are a fraction of the size of our other candles and only include one wick, expect a lighter scent throw. small candles contribute the best scent in smaller, confined spaces like bathrooms and cubbies.
